IICM is launching a specialized education program to provide, what it calls, a “cutting-edge start” to MBA and BBA students.
IICM’s Certificate in Digital Marketing addresses four needs faced by MBA, BBA and Fresher students – the need for curriculum support, the need for enhancing skills in new technology, the need for certification from Digital Marketing Industry.
For the first category, IICM has created a certificate course of curriculum support programs which are mapped to industry curriculum in specific Digital Marketing companies and aim to help marketing students upgrade and improve their skills. The program covers popular modules such as Search Engine Marketing, Email Marketing, Online PR and Social Media Marketing, and Affiliate Marketing.
In the second category – IICM has designed advanced modules, to enhance skills in new technologies. These are based on IICM’s market research of employable skills required in the Digital Marketing Industry.
The third category focuses on certification programs that will offer students short-term training, which will equip them to qualify for global jobs in emerging digital marketing companies. According to IICM, annually, more than 26,000 students and professionals lack digital marketing skills and lose on opportunities.
Announcing the Certified Course, Amit Gupta, Training Director, IICM said, “IICM’s new initiative, designed exclusively for MBA, BBA, Fresher students, will help create the base of specialized manpower that the country needs today.”

The Certificate in Digital Marketing is the first certified course launched in the Indian Online sphere.
